A good friend of mine (who is also a photographer) has asked me the past 2 years to do their family photos for them and ummmmm what an honor! I LOVE that she trusts me to do their family photos and that she even came back again this year! Thanks soooooo much caroline for letting me do your family pictures!

Now having two little girls of my own..i see how strong a sister bond is, as you can tell with these two girls :). Miss Allie gave me a hard time which was a complete 180 from the her 6 month session where she sat and smiled at me the entire time, but after she relaxed a little and maybe we did too ;)..i got some great shots! Boy, i really wish i could have someone sit behind us with a video camera to show how goofy we look when trying to get a child to smile haha!! Right, Cherie?
It was SOOO cold the day i met this family..well, not as cold as some of my sessions have been but def. cold. Both kids were on a short fuse with the weather…and with me haha! I made a big mistake by asking big brother to “squeeze his sister tight” (im thinking in my head..he will hug her and smile)…and it all went down hill from there…he squeezed too tight, baby started crying, big brother started letting me know he was done with me. HAHA! Thankfully we still managed to get some adorable pictures where they didn’t look frozen! Then we took sister to my house for a little “studio” session for her 6 months.
Hopefully, I’m forgiven from big brother? I’m pretty positive sister forgave me since i gave her some heat and entertainment at the house by my oldest daughter. 🙂 Thanks P family!!
Miss Delaney as you may remember from HERE, was my DREAM newborn session. She slept during every position and never fussed at me…she gave me ALL the time I needed to get everything done. However, this time she decided to make me work a little harder than the last time…maybe b/c i had it so easy last time?? ha! But guess what…I still got some GREAT shots of this little one’s smiles. Mainly thanks to daddy, since she wasn’t having me or mommy that morning 🙂
I just know delaney and I will become good buddies by her first birthday! 😉
