beach pt 2…my version :) – katy, tx child photographer

These were the dresses I was going to use at my beach session (when i did a little 5 min. shoot with my girls), but that didn’t happen…b/c when i came back (my husband and sister in law were watching our girls) from taking pictures of one family, I came to this….

well..she was clothed when i came back but she was eating mud/sand and had it all over her arms and legs. My older daughter was doing this…

so needless to say..we did not get pictures taken at the beach. I do appreciate this hilarious photos of them at the beach though 🙂 I got a great one of my older one drinking the salt water and my younger one with a full frontal nudity..but we will save that one for her baby book 😉

I bought these dresses specifically for the beach b/c aren’t they PRECIOUS?? Since they weren’t used there..i decided to use them here 🙂

smash cake countdown to 1 years old – katy tx child photographer

my baby girl will be one on FRIDAY!! So sad..i will always miss my baby stage with both my kiddos. On a lighter note, i LOVE smash cake sessions!! They are not only hilarious but darn right ADORABLE! I highly recommend doing this with your babies! I just bought a matching high chair to this pink one, and I’m painting it blue so i can have one for both boys and girls!! So, book your smash cake sessions asap..i promise you will LOVE it 🙂

sand…sand..everywhere – galveston, tx family photographer

Ok…so I can officially say that the beach minis are my FAVORITE!! The lighting was amazing..it was just so calming! I think I could have stayed out their all evening..oh wait we did 😉

I even got some of my cuties in the sand! Here we are about 5 days later and we still have sand in our car and on some of our clothes..haha! I’ve been busy..that’s my excuse and im sticking to it!

whimsical session – katy, tx child photographer

I put together a “whimsical session” in my head. I see sooo many great and unique ideas on pinterest that it inspires me to do something different during my sessions besides just basic props and locations for my clients.

So, during this shoot..i envisioned bubbles floating everywhere, smiley cuddly girls, antique books and balloons. Well if you haven’t noticed…most of those didn’t show up haha. The bubble machine broke down after about 2 minutes of SMALL bubbles, the antique books are EXPENSIVE and well…balloons were a last minute thought that didn’t make it out to the field. But don’t we all envision these very elaborate ideas and only about 50-75% of the ideas happen!

I’m still so happy with it and the girls were just so adorable!! Thanks M family for trusting me and going into your session blind!
