glimpse – park days

Now that my older one is old enough to play at the park and I can trust her up on those high slides, we LOVE going to the park. We have three parks in our area (actually 4, but three we actually go to) that are all within walking distance. We decided to walk to the BIG park which is almost a mile away…but mommy lost her phone and finally had the neighbor call it so we could find it quicker and attempt the park. Long story short, by the time we got going on our walk…we walked by the first park (which is about a 2 min walk) and maddie (my oldest) says…”mommy, my bones are tired”…so we stayed at the smaller park and it was just us girls! I will miss these days when my kids are in school…must. soak. in. every. moment!

glimpse

here is a “glimpse” into our daily life…

I saw on pinterest this idea for edible paint. What a GREAT idea…umm why didn’t I think of that? Oh wait, b/c im not THAT genius, yet :). I let both girls play in it (youngest is 9 months) and they both loved it! My younger one surprisingly had no motivation to eat it, like my older one did. She tried every color..and wasn’t quite fond of the taste but still loved being able to “eat paint!” Hope we don’t have confusion in the future haha!

isn’t it illegal to look this good while pregnant? – houston, TX maternity photographer

…i think so! haha! She is only belly! I look back at pictures of myself and sheesh..i have extras in my face, my sides, my butt! ha!

This is one of my favorite families!! I’ve taken their pictures since adrian was 6 months (right?)…who is hilarious and ALL boy (tree climbing, dirt throwin, snot wiping boy)! I love it! Thank you C family for letting me be apart of your family for the past year!

baby, its cold outside!! – katy, tx child photographer

It was SOOO cold the day i met this family..well, not as cold as some of my sessions have been but def. cold. Both kids were on a short fuse with the weather…and with me haha! I made a big mistake by asking big brother to “squeeze his sister tight” (im thinking in my head..he will hug her and smile)…and it all went down hill from there…he squeezed too tight, baby started crying, big brother started letting me know he was done with me. HAHA! Thankfully we still managed to get some adorable pictures where they didn’t look frozen! Then we took sister to my house for a little “studio” session for her 6 months.

Hopefully, I’m forgiven from big brother? I’m pretty positive sister forgave me since i gave her some heat and entertainment at the house by my oldest daughter. 🙂 Thanks P family!!
